  • Michelle had her Regional off-Broadway debut as the leading female comedic character actress in the Florida production of “Jewtopia”
  • Michelle was a semi-finalist of an Oxygen competition to star in and produce her own show
  • She was a series regular on the Webby Award-nominated Conde Naste Webseries “Pretty Imperfect”
  • Michelle apprenticed at the Williamstown Theatre Festival where she performed with Michelle Williams in the “Cherry Orchard”, and performed standup with Lewis Black
  • She performed in various NY Fringe Festival shows including “Sex and the Holyland” which was extended into the Fringe Encore Series
  • She played at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA as the British Fairyteller Katerina in the Al Fresco Production of “The Fairylore Players”
  • She was a founding member of the improv troupe Hebrew School Dropouts

HISTORY

  • Michelle Slonim began her comedic exploits at age 5 when her father filmed her dancing to Madonna’s “Material Girl” and amid the body roll and ass shaking she fell flat on her ass. To which she insisted, “That was part of the dance choreography – keep filming, Daddy!”
  • Michelle is a native New Yorker and graduate of the University of Michigan, Spanish major.  She lived in Ecuador and Argentina where she performed improv en español.  At the University of Michigan she participated in English with the improv troupe Comedy Company; they performed at Harvard as well as around the Midwest for audiences from 50-1000 people.  At Michigan, she acted in favorite roles such as Hamlet’s Gravedigger, “The Vagina Monologues”, and Cherry in the Australian comedy “Cosi”.
